Welcome to my website. Let me tell you a little about myself.
I was conceived after a…you know what, let’s fast forward a bit. I’ve had dreams of being a published author since I was a kid and I’ve been writing stories, or bits of stories, for that long.
I’m Matt, a certified smart ass and author. My journey to publishing has been long, like really, really long. I commented to a friend last week that now that I’m at the point of having a book to go to market with, I wish I would’ve pushed myself sooner. Just think of where I’d be if I had been writing more diligently five years ago, or ten. She pointed out, correctly, that there’s no way of knowing that I could have written the book I have today back then. That’s very true. There’s so much of who I am today that has gone into the book I’ve written.
It’s a labor eight years in the making, and there’s no way the book would be what it is today without all the things that have brought me to where I am right now. Oh god, this is getting rambly and repetitive. More on the book soon.
In the meantime, welcome to my website and the beginning of what I hope will be a long career of the written word.
